On (or about) April 8th, he rolled over for the first time, kind of by accident. He was sitting up on his forearms, and toppled over when craning his head to try to look at his mobile. He rolled over again around the 13th. He's only done it once since, so he's not too accomplished at it. It also took a LONG time on the 13th -- at least a minute or two. He still hasn't figured out that the real key is getting the underneath arm out of the way.
A day or two later, he started having his first "conversations." Of course, the only word he's using is "raspberry," which he's been saying for a while. But the new development is that he'll raspberry, wait for you to respond with a raspberry of your own, then he'll rebut your raspberry with one of his own! He gets a big kick out of (and, of course, so do we).
Last: on Wednesday this week (April 15th), he had his first Music Together class. He slept through the first third of it, but after that had a terrific time watching mom and dad singing, dancing, and playing with musical instruments. He liked the shaker eggs and the clicky shells (both of which he put right into his mouth).
Here's a bonus picture of Sawyer and Maya
